🔍 About the Role
Reports to: International Fundraising Officer
The Fundraising Coordinator will be the linchpin in managing and growing key donor relationships, particularly with the IFRS Foundation Corporate Champions Network and philanthropy fundraising. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, involves supporting the IFRS Foundation’s annual revenue goals and transitioning new donor programs to a sustainable model.
🌟 Key Responsibilities
Donor Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for the Corporate Champions Network and key philanthropic donors.
- Ensure seamless donor engagement, stewardship, and retention.
- Develop donor engagement plans, including events and roundtables.
Fundraising Strategy and Execution
- Lead funding proposals, grant applications, and donor reports.
- Identify new corporate and philanthropic funding opportunities.
- Monitor fundraising KPIs.
Jurisdictional Fundraising and Collaboration
- Engage with funders across the public and private sectors.
- Coordinate with finance to track and allocate funding.
Event Planning and Donor Engagement
- Plan and execute donor engagement events.
- Develop tailored stewardship plans for key funders.
🎯 Required Skills and Experience
- Experience in external relationship management, ideally in sales, non-profit, or sustainability roles.
- Background in corporate partnerships and philanthropic fundraising.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Strong project management and event planning skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Familiarity with financial reporting or sustainability frameworks is a plus.
