Since expanding its remit in 2021, the Foundation has been focused on creating a global baseline for sustainability-related financial disclosures. This move aims to enhance transparency and reliability in capital markets globally.
Ken Robinson, Chair of the Nominating Committee, emphasized the importance of this role:
"We are searching for a new Managing Director to continue to lead the IFRS Foundationās transformation and operational strategy when Michel Madelainās term ends in autumn 2026."

The Trusteesā Nominating Committee, led by Ken Robinson and supported by an executive search firm, is at the helm of this quest.
