The hunt is on for candidates from the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Oceania, with a strong emphasis on diversity and gender balance.

Their responsibilities include governance, maintaining the Foundation’s Constitution and Due Process Handbook, appointing members to various boards, and overseeing funding. Essentially, they act as company directors under UK law, making sure the standards for global financial reporting and sustainability disclosures are top-notch.

📋 Qualifications Matter

So, who’s the ideal candidate? The IFRS Foundation is looking for senior-level professionals with a broad range of backgrounds who are passionate about corporate reporting and public service. Candidates should be financially savvy and ready to commit to at least three three-day meetings per year, held in different locations worldwide. They should also be ready to engage with stakeholders and be aware of current issues like new technologies and market needs.
