πŸ” What’s the Gig?

The International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) and the International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) are scouting for new members to join the IFRS Taxonomy Consultative Group (ITCG) starting from August 1, 2025. This elite squad advises on IFRS digital taxonomies and ensures their consistent adoption and implementation.

ITCG members review IFRS Taxonomy publications and files, playing a crucial role in maintaining high-quality digital taxonomies that facilitate the digital consumption of financial statements and sustainability-related disclosures.

🎁 What’s In It for You?

Becoming an ITCG member comes with its perks:

  • Influence the development of IFRS digital taxonomies
  • Stay updated with significant developments
  • Network with other digital reporting stakeholders

Meetings are held four times a year, including one in-person gathering. Plus, you get to be part of a diverse group with various geographical and functional backgrounds.

🎯 Who Are They Looking For?

The ITCG is on the lookout for candidates with:

  • Experience using eXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) or other structured data formats
  • Skills in AI or emerging tech for data extraction and analysis
